What is it?

Ripple Effect Occupational Therapy offers individual and group OT led by a nationally board certified occupational therapist in the Port Angeles, Washington and surrounding area's.

Nature based OT sessions occur outdoors including nearby parks, trails or beaches. The nature based approach uses the natural environment as a tool to assist in building skills through play, movement and exploration. Nature based therapy encourages creative problem solving, builds confidence and independence through supported risky play.

Aquatic based OT sessions occur in an indoor pool. Aquatic-based OT is a therapeutic approach that uses the supportive and resistive properties of water to help individuals improve movement, strength, and functional independence. Water reduces stress on joints while providing gentle resistance to build muscle coordination, and supports sensory processing and regulation.
